The purpose of our Quality Management System is to ensure that all services and test results satisfy the customer’s requirements and have been delivered under controlled conditions
Our Quality Manual defines:
RRL quality management system which is established, implemented, and maintained by management. It is applicable to all the fields of testing and activities in which the laboratory is involved and undertakes.
All policies, systems, programs, procedures and instructions are documented in the quality manual to the extent necessary to enable the laboratory to assure the quality of results.
A LIMS (Laboratory Information System) has been implemented that controls:
Receipt of samples: issues LIMS and lab numbers
Evaluating and validating results:
checks and passes “twin-stream” results captured form ICP – OES instruments
checks and passes QC data obtained for a batch of samples
Reporting results: produces Analytical Reports for customers; on-line for internal customers and printed for external clients
Tracking results/client details: all data entered is available at a later stage, if required
